An easy sauce and can be used as hot pot dipping sauce or replacement for be Danish brown sauce.

Instructions

I am not sure where this recipe is from but it is something he started to add at some point.

  1. Mix water and sugar in a small sauce pan until the sugar has been dissolved.
  2. Add Maggi and potato starch and mix.
  3. Taste the sauce and add more sugar or Maggi if needed. Please be aware that the sauce will taste a bit of potato starch until it has been cooked.
  4. Heat the pan on the stove and remember to continuously mix sauce.
  5. The sauce is ready when it is a bright clear brown and thas thickened. It will no longer be cloudy. 
  6. Continue to mix the sauce until it has become thick, then turn off the stove and take it off the heart.
  7. Bliv ved med at blande i saucen indtil den begynder at tykne og blive klar, så kan komfuret slukkes og gryden tages af varmen.
